English/ESL Placement: Placement into ENG 1510.
Prerequisite: Grade of 'C+' or better in SLS 1010 or consent of departmental designee.
Note: Prerequisites for courses in this department are not automatically waived for College Guest students and students with a bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S. institution.

This course will develop beginning receptive and expressive fingerspelling and number use based on work with phrase recognition and expression. Students will be expected to demonstrate basic proficiency in receptive recognition and expressive production of fingerspelled words and numbers in context. BILLABLE CONTACT HOURS: 2
