This option is intended for individuals who desire employment as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) or for EMTs beginning their paramedic training. This level requires successful completion of an EMT program or possession of a Michigan EMT license or National Registry certification. Interested students must attend an EMS orientation session, fill out an application for admission to the program, and pass a criminal background investigation and drug test.
