ESL Placement Level: Placement into ENG 1510, ENG 1510E, or ENG 1510S, or placement into ESL 2520 or completion of ESL 2520. ENG transfer credit will also satisfy this prerequisite.

This course will identify the various essential nutrients, describe their physical, chemical and biological characteristics and describe the effects of dietary deficiencies and excesses. This course is recommended for Health Professions and Technologies students. BILLABLE CONTACT HOURS: 3
